Modified Mecke’s Reagent is used for the presumptive identification of all forms of Heroin, including White, Brown and Black Tar, and MDMA (Ecstasy), as well as detecting the presence of certain dye combinations designed to give false positives with Test A. The NIK System of Narcotics Identification is the only international standard for field testing suspicious substances.
